HOW LONG IS EACH THERAPY SESSION?

The initial FREE consultation is a 20 minutes.  I offer this over the phone, in person or via video.​

 Therapy sessions are 45 or 90 minute sessions, which are also offered via phone, in person, or video.

HOW OFTEN WOULD WE MEET?

This will be decided between you and me at the end of our first session.  This is often decided on a case-by-case basis.  Most commonly, we would meet once a week until we have agreed that increasing or decreasing the frequency of visits is appropriate.

DO YOU USE CBT OR DBT?

I use a variety of theoretical perspectives including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, narrative, solution focused, trauma focused, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) just to name a few.  I use the most effective theoretical approach for each individual's needs.

DO YOU OFFER IN PERSON SESSIONS?

  • Yes!  I conduct a Covid screen to each individual that would prefer in person sessions.  

  • All surfaces are disinfected between each session.

  • Masks must be worn in common areas.

  • Maintaining a 6' foot distance between individuals is observed at all times. 

  • Going off-site/outside is also available and a way to help maintain a safe, in person session.
